Dear Bethany Family,
It’s that time of year again and we are hosting our Bethany Cemetery Association Donation Drive! In this letter you will find a recap from 2023 and our plans for 2024.
As you know the cemetery care depends largely on donations. We ask you to continue your support for our small, local cemetery. We know many of you have a passion for family history as we do and we want to ensure our family member’s final resting place is cherished and cared for with compassion. Any amount you are willing to donate is appreciated; it all adds up!
2023 RECAP:
- We increased our cash reward to $3,000 for our missing plat book
- Our “new” fencing is complete!
- Roadwork – we are STILL in the process of trying to get the cemetery road laid
- Memorial Trees are now for sale (enclosed)
- Scavenger Hunt cash prizes were donated by State Farm Agent, Cindy Blaylock of Louisiana, Missouri.
SAVE THE DATE:
- Spring Cleanup Day: Saturday, May 4th at 10:00 AM with a rain date of May 11th.
- Cemetery Scavenger Hunt: Friday, October 25th at dusk.
We hope you will consider a donation to the Bethany Cemetery Association so that we can continue to keep up the maintenance and plan for future improvements. Make your check payable to “Bethany Cemetery Association” Also feel free to add if you would like your donation made in memory/honor of someone special!
